THE BLACKHAWKS SOCCER FESTIVAL

FRIDAY, MARCH 29TH, 2013 - 5:30PM TO 8:00PM 

CHAPARRAL PARK  

The purpose of the Blackhawks Festival is for our Competitive Division players to come together and celebrate their season.  Teams will play in a series of small-sided games mixed together within their age group.  Coaches will do a little coaching but will primarily encourage skills, sportsmanship and fun for all.  Parents are encouraged to celebrate their child's development and experience with fellow team members.

The Blackhawks Festival will include a DJ, Face Painting, Soccerloco's Club Spirit Wear and a Parade of Athletes (Each age group / team will be welcomed onto the field).

Boys (Age Groups)

WHERE:

Chaparral Park – 5401 North Hayden Road Scottsdale, Arizona 85250

FORMAT:

Players should arrive by 5:30pm and go straight to their Team Party areas located on the north end of Chaparral Park’s west and east soccer fields. Players are asked to wear red training shirts, black shorts and black socks. In the event of cold weather, players are advised to wear their black training jackets and pants. The Inclement Weather Policy will be activated through the training staff if needed.

At 5:50pm the players will be called out onto the field - players should only take their water with them and leave all balls and backpacks in their ‘team areas’. The players will be grouped with other teams and play a series of games throughout the evening - we ask that parents stay off the main playing area.

TEAM PARTY AREAS:

We ask that each team provide a tent for their players and parents - a prize will be awarded for the tent showing the best Blackhawks Spirit.  We also encourage all teams to host a team party (once the soccer portion of the event concludes) for their players and families - please bring your own drinks and food, and for those teams that wish to do so, you can utilize this event to host your end of season parties.
